- Start a website in the name of your Organization and get the valid domain and hosting certificate as a record.
- Compile all your relevant documents, certificates and develop an impressive brief profile of your NGO.
- Develop a habit of writing at least 5-10 proposals/letters to concerned department/agencies/corporate/individual donors every month to see results in 6 months.
Collaboration
- Get registered under FCRA. Try to mobilize foreign funds
- Get ISO 9000 Certification
- Import Export Code Number assigned by DGFT
- Apply for 12A & 80G
Organization
- Keep work record / government sanctioning as proof and work with various agencies
- Give priority to women members/ SC/ST/ registered artisans having expertise in handicraft with proper proof from registrar office.
- Develop office infrastructure in other states
- Keep good assets, proper balance sheet and audit report, file income tax return timely and keep a healthy bank balance and transactions.
- Maintain proper staff registers with attendance sheet.
- Form SHG and link them with a scheduled bank (like MAHILA BANK) and mobilize micro credit.
