The Govt of India has proposed several agricultural schemes for farmers. SEN4NGOs proposes to work through NGOs on creating 1 cluster of 100 FPOs, each with up to 1000 farmers. This will amount to between 2 – 5 Lakhs acres. 

These farmers will be connected to buyers directly with investment in supply chain and logistics.

Supply chain logistics will be managed by sen4ngos. Buyer interfaces and all marketing and sales will be handled by sen4ngos. Innovative packing methodologies and waste reduction will be managed. Multicrop and plant crop rotation will be recommended. Family welfare, children education,  will be supported. Urban facilities like retail products, insurance, transportation, entertainment will be provided.

Women engagement – Women will be encouraged to produce through

  1. Support in packing
  2. Masala and Spices segregation and branding
  3. Supplying cooked and semi cooked items like fryms, papads etc
  4. Handlooms and knitting/. Tailoring options
  5. Raising the minimal rural family income to Rs.50,000
