SEN is obtaining technical support from Qualisoft to users of Develate, a web-browser application that any computer can access from your local network. It has reasonable, low server requirements but can run large datasets from an average laptop. Low user PC requirements, and unlimited users with over 50 different access rights.There are 3 different components: Management tools, financial system, and analytics.Management tools: HR system, document management, intranet messaging, staff certification controls with audit history, live logical framework monitoring, electronic staff appraisals, time sheets.Financial system: specifically built for NGOs, advanced budgeting features, integrated funder system, payroll integration, real accounting, integrated to analytics (measures unit costs in real time)Analytics (requires consultancy and training): monitor outputs AND outcomes, monitor anything, multi-site projects, infinitely flexible report writer, live logical framework monitoringThe services come with support on training, initial data entry, regular use and overall monitoring and support without the need to retain expensive staff over the long run. The application used well will provide,Better visibility to activities, beneficiaries and social workers.Better management for NGOs scaling up.Single point data and reporting mechanism.Empowering the social worker.Life-cycle project management recording right from strategy and proposal to donor updates and reporting for each project/donor.Flexible reporting.Strategy, Intervention management and Analytics.This also adds immense value to the employee and social worker, making them more Information technology savvy and greatly adding to their profile and employability.Concerns addressed by the extended support from SEN and CubecOnlineWe do not have the staff or technical competency to manage the application.We find it difficult to manage volunteers, a system like this will be unusable.We cannot afford a complex software in terms of price.The software is open source, free, and especially designed for NGOs.
